NBC E Personal Dosimeter 1950s rare Personal dosimeter device and charger , issued as a test item in the 1950’s . It still has the civilian manufacturing references on the box. Probably an early military trials item, as it comes from the estate of an Ex RQMS who was an NBC instructor in the 1950’s as a Sergeant. Definitely an interesting item for the NBC collector. It would sit well alongside the Gas mask also listed in this BAOR category The dosimeter was used to assess how much radio activity a soldier might have absorbed following a Nuclear explosion or other type of chemical contaminant.
