Vintage (Japanese) M4 Military Utility Combat Fighting Knife / Scabbard Here is a very nice vintage (Japanese made) M4 M1 carbine bayonet and an M8A1 WD scabbard, which is original to the bayonet. These were made in Japan for either commercial or foreign military sales. The bayonet is in good condition overall. The blade retains its factory, never re-sharpened blade; The blade has nearly all of its original bluing remaining. The guards original bluing is intact. The latch plate/ pommel is tight. The latch plate mechanism works. The leather handle is tight and crack free. The scabbard is in good condition and the body is of black plastic with a leather hanger and working press stud. Proof of age over 18 years is required to purchase this item.
